Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. She is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was just a child. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th that the series was returning to production. The fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large internet following.
