Maria Menounos

Maria was helping her mother with stage four brain cancer. She discovered that she had the middle of a health crisis. In February 2014 Menounos started experiencing troubling symptoms. Menounos tells PEOPLE that she had been suffering from headaches and lightheadedness since February 2014. My speech became blurred and I was having difficulties comprehension of the teleprompter. Menounos had been diagnosed as having a meningioma-size brain tumor. An MRI confirmed this. Menounos booked an appointment to see her mother's doctor famous neurosurgeon Dr. Keith L. Black who scheduled the surgery to be performed on June 8 - her birthday. Menounos claims that Dr. Black said, "I am 98 percent convinced that this is a benign condition, however, we won't know until we get into there," After the lengthy surgery which lasted about seven hours Dr. Black was able to remove 99.9 percent of the tumour. This was benign. "He said there's an 8% to 7% likelihood that we'll have it return," she says. They're my best option. Menounos has returned home from a six-day stay in hospital. She is currently recuperating and spending the company of Litsa the mother of her. Litsa's most recent MRI confirms she's unaffected by cancer. Maria Maria Maria
